Four free Waste Pesticide Collection events will take place around the state of Missouri this year. One of the locations is in Chillicothe.
On October 14th, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold the Waste Pesticide Collection event at the Litton Agri-Science Learning Center. The collection event will take place from 8:00 am to noon and will accept allowed items from Missouri farmers and households.
Accepted items include: Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides, Pesticides, Rodenticides, De-wormers, Fly tags, and Fertilizers containing pesticides.
Registration for disposal is recommended but not required and may be completed by following the link. pesticidecollectionregistration@dnr.mo.gov.
