Enrollment periods for the USDA Conservation Reserve Programs will be opening soon. Livingston County FSA Executive Director Raysha Tate says there are two programs upcoming.
Opens February 12th and is open until the end of September. It is more for erodible situations.
Tate explains that the second program is the General Sign-up.
Begins March 9th to April 14th, and is for whole field situations.
The general sign-up is a competitive program and is determined on a national level. The continuous sign-up program is on a first-come basis, but may be reaching capacity.
