A report of a fire at 408 Gandview summoned Chillicothe firefighters Saturday afternoon. The call came in at 4:08 pm and firefighters arrived in two minutes to find the occupants outside. There was no sign of smoke outside the home. The owner reported a work lamp had been knocked over in the attic, where an electrician had been working.
Firefighters found no charred or burned insulation after checking the attic and ceiling.
The fire crew was on the scene for an hour and 20 minutes.
