A house at 438 Walnut Street burned on Saturday. The call came in at 1:47 am and firefighters were on the scene in eight minutes. Mutual aid was called from Wheeling, Green Township, and Chula. Fire was showing from the windows and police reported two injured with burns and smoke inhalation.
Chillicothe pumper and Ladder truck and their crews worked to extinguish the fire and were on the scene for just over four hours.
One person was reported to have moderate injuries due to the fire.
