Four additional crashes were reported by State Tropers on Monday, resulting in five people injured.
In Chariton County at about 8:58 am, a single vehicle crash on Highway 11 near Brunswick left the 44-year-old driver from Marceline with moderate injuries. He was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
In Dekalb County at about 10:45 am, a single vehicle crash left the driver, a 60-year-old man from Gallatin, and his passenger, a 68-year-old woman from Gallatin, with moderate injuries. The crash occurred on SE Gridley Road west of Cameron. Both were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 in Daviess County left a 48-year-old Texas woman with minor injuries. The crash occurred when she slowed to use the emergency crossover and was struck from behind by a 20-year-old woman from Olathe, KS. The Texas woman was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
At about 3:05 pm in Livingston County, a two-vehicle crash left a 61-year-old Dawn man with minor injuries. The crash occurred on Route Z, south of Chillicothewhen a 28-year-old Pattonsburg man was northbound and the vehicle from Dawn was southbound. The Pattonsburg vehicle slid off the road and struck the vehicle from Dawn. The Dawn man was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
