Five Year Old Child Riding A Horse Injured In Crash

A five-year-old child riding a horse had serious injuries when the horse was struck by a vehicle driven by an eighteen-year-old girl.  The crash occurred Wednesday at about 6:50 pm on Highway 6 at 330th Street – 2 miles north of Jamesport.  According to the report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, the boy was ejected and came to rest in the roadway with serious injuries.  The child was flown to Children’s Mercy Hospital for treatment.  The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
