The National Weather Service has extended the flood warning for local rivers. The warning covers the Grand River near Gallatin, Chillicothe, Sumner, Brunswick and Pattonsburg and extends through Sunday morning. The Thompson River at Trenton and into Livingston County is also forecast to experience flooding.
The Grand River at Chillicothe is currently at 31.22 feet and may go as high as 34 feet; flood stage is 24 feet.
