Gallatin Woman Charged With Alleged Stealing And Forgery

Charges of stealing more than $33,000 over a 30-month period have been filed following the investigation by the Hamilton Police Department.  Fifty-five-year-old Julie Ann Vyrostek of Gallatin is charged with alleged stealing and forgery.  The probable cause statement indicated Vyrostek had permission to deposit the paycheck of the victim into the victim’s account.  Vyrostek allegedly endorsed the checks with the victim’s name and kept the funds.  The stealing is alleged to have taken place from April of 2023 to October of 2025.

A warrant has been issued in Caldwell County Court, with cash bond set at $50,000.
