Grand River Flood Warning Updates

Flood warnings continue for the Grand River from Pattonsburg to Sumner.

On the Grand River at Pattonsburg moderate flooding is expected as the river is above flood stage of 25 feet.  A crest of 31.5 feet is expected Thursday, with the river falling back below flood stage Friday afternoon.

A flood warning is issued for the Grand River at Gallatin.  Flood Stage is 26 feet.  The river is near flood stage this morning and expected to crest at 29.5 feet Thursday.  The flood warning continues to Saturday morning.

At Chillicothe, a flood warning is issued from Wednesday through Sunday morning as the river is expected to rise above flood stage of 24 feet today, with a crest of 29.7 feet on Thursday and falling below flood stage Sunday morning.

At Sumner, the river is expected to rise to a crest of 32 feet Friday afternoon.  The river should rise above flood stage of 26 feet later today, and fall back below flood stage Sunday evening.
