Grundy County Rural Fire Fighters responded to an alarm for a fire at 72100 View Driver in Trenton, The fire crew received the call at about 6:20 pm Thursday and arrived to find heavy fire on the west side of the house. The fire had extended into the attic.
The report states the fire crews worked to extinguish the fire and the remaining hot spots.
Heavy fire damage was reported to the west side of the house, with extensive heat and smoke damage throughout.
Fire crews were on the scene for about three hours.
