A Hale woman had moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon. State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 4:22 pm on Route H, east of Avalon, when the 45-year-old woman was eastbound and ran off the south side of the road. Her vehicle struck the ditch, coming to rest on its wheels. The woman was not wearing a safety belt and had moderate injuries. She was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.
