The Chillicothe City Council approved Haying and Farm Ground leases as part of Monday’s meeting. The leases include:
A three-year Cash Farming contract with Sykes Farms for $172 / acre for 23 acres, totaling $3,956 per year.
A three-year Cash Haying contract with Joe L. Johnson for $37.50 per acre for 14 acres, totaling $525 per year.
There were no bids on the hay ground at the new industrial park property. They will go out to bid on the property again, this time for a one-year term.
