Head On Collision Leaves One Dead and One With Serious Injuries

A Breckenridge man died in a head-on collision on US 36 Friday afternoon.  State Troopers report the 41-year-old Breckenridge man was westbound, about 4 miles west of Hamilton when he was struck head-on by an eastbound vehicle in the westbound lane.  According to the report, the eastbound driver was a 15-year-old girl from Hamilton.  The girl had serious injuries and was flown to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.  The Breckenridge man died at the scene.
