Health Center Board Member Removed As Part Of Meeting

The Livingston County Health Center Board met Tuesday afternoon.   Chair Sonja Daley noted the attendance and the absence of Dr Hulett and made the following announcement.

Declared a vacancy on the board.

In the Financial Report, Director Sherry Weldon noted the purchase of Flu Vaccine and stated the Health Center would be visiting the area schools and providing vaccine to the staff.

Under Old Business,

Two new furnaces are expected to be installed this week.  They expect to have everything complete by next week.

Weldon informed the board two items expected to be covered by a grant will not be covered.  These include the replacement of the front doors and the incinerator.  The board approved both items.

The Incinerator will be purchased by the board with the partnering agencies.  The cost to the health center will be $11,000.

The doors will be replaced at a cost of $17,000 due to the issues with the current door.
