Health Department Offers FREE PSA Testing

Free PSA testing is available at the Livingston County Health Center during the month of June as part of Men’s Health Month.  The PSA test is done through a blood draw.  These will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 to 11:00 am, on a walk-in basis.  No appointment is needed.

The PSA test helps to detect early signs of prostate cancer — one of the most common cancers in men.

In addition, the health center is offering Testosterone testing in June for a fee of $20.  Both men and women who live in Livingston County can take advantage of this discounted testing opportunity.

The results of the tests will be mailed to each individual to share with their healthcare provider.

If you have questions, call the health center at 660-646-5506.
