Helipad Repairs At Chillicothe Airport

The Helipad at the Chillicothe Municipal Airport will be resurfaced under a contract with Commercial Concrete Solutions of Platte City.  The Helipad, used by LifeFlight Eagle, is showing surface chipping that requires repair.  Airport Director Toby Calivere says the cost of the project is just under $48,000 and will include milling the top ¾ of an inch and putting a new epoxy-type surface in place.

Once work begins, it will take about 10 days to complete and LifeFlight may have to relocate to a different location at the airport during that time.
