One injury accident and on arrest in the area counties are reported by the Missouri Highway Patrol.
A two-vehicle crash in Carroll County Friday morning left two with minor injuries. State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 7:32 am on County Road 120, west of 261. According to the report, a 23-year-old woman from Hale was driving westbound and crested a hill before striking an eastbound vehicle driven by a 32-year-old woman from Tina. Both drivers had minor injuries. They were evaluated on the scene and released.
A Higbee man was arrested by State Troopers in Chariton County Friday evening. Thirty-two-year-old Joralee D. Smith was arrested at about 9:15 pm for alleged driving without a valid drivers license. He was processed and released.
