Holiday Trash Schedule Reminder

Chillicothe’s Holiday trash schedule continues as CMU is closed today (Friday).  Changes for CMU customers include:

Christmas Holiday

If you have a Friday trash route, your trash will be picked up on Monday(12-29).

If you had a Thursday trash route and missed the Wednesday pick-up, you will need to hold on to your trash until January 2^nd.

For the New Year

CMU is closed on January 1^st.  The Thursday, January 1^st trash will be picked up on Friday, January 2^nd.

The Holiday scheduled for alternative trash pick-up is posted on the CMU web page.  It is currently showing the 2025 schedule.  CMU General Manager Matt Hopper says the 2026 schedule will be posted after the first of the year.
