Setting term limits for Chillicothe’s Housing Preservation Commission was approved by the City Council. City Clerk Amy Hess says the term limits were not part of the original ordinance creating the board.
Their term is 3 years, but it did not say they could only serve two terms.
Under the amendment, the board members can serve no more than two consecutive full terms before they are off the commission.
