Human remains were discovered Sunday by Grundy County mushroom hunters. The discovery was in a creek, just north of the Trenton City Limits. The Grundy County Sheriff’s office recovered the body with assistance from the Buchanan County Sheriffs Office Crime Scene Unit, the Grundy County Corner, the Trenton Police Department and Daviess County Sheriff Larry Adams.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the identity of the body and the cause of death.
