A single-vehicle crash at about 7:45 am Wednesday in Linn County left a Brookfield man with minor injuries. Twenty-year-old Jacob R. Weinmann of Brookfield was eastbound on US 36 and lost control on the ice-covered road. He ran off the road and struck the ditch. He was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
