KCHI Partners With Chillicothe Middle School – CMS Cares Closet

KCHI and the Chillicothe Middle School are teamed up to help fill the CMS Cares Closet with non-perishable foods and NEW sweatshirts.  Lendy Donoho, a counselor at the Middle School says this would help to take care of CMS Students who are in need and requesting assistance.  Donoho says a big need is NEW sweatshirts.

Donoho says another requested item is spaghetti sauce and noodles.  A full list of preferred food items can be found below.

To support CMS Cares Closet, beginning Monday bring your donations to KCHI during regular business hours.  When you drop them off, you will receive a coupon for 10% off on the KCHI Big Deals.  This promotion runs through February 7th.

Some of the preferred items to donate include:

  • Spaghetti sauce and noodles
  • canned fruit
  • canned vegetables
  • chicken noodle soup
  • tuna helper
  • oatmeal – instant packets
  • granola bars
  • peanut butter crackers

Also NEW sweatshirts in sizes from medium to xx-large.  Hornet pride or anything school appropriate.
