Libraries Will Participate In BooFest

The Livingston County Library and the Lillian DesMarias Youth Library will again participate in Boofest.  Boofest will be held in downtown Chillicothe on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. The library invites those out getting the sweet treats, to be sure to stop by the library for a free book. They will have several choices of board books, picture books, chapter books, multiple nonfiction choices, and books for teens.

The Friends of the Library have purchased 179 books of fiction and non-fiction as well as a coloring book for grown-ups. Last year the adults gobbled up these books within 45 minutes. We have a larger supply this year.

All books will be given away at the main Library location at 450 Locust Street. The Youth Library will close at 3:00 pm on Halloween.
