Building Our American Communities grants from the Missouri Department of Agriculture were announced by Director Chris Chinn. The grants are awarded to support the efforts of the 4H and FFA chapters with projects across the state. Chin says this program is just one example of the leadership and commitment to service young people learn through FFA and 4-H.
Eleven FFA Chapters and nine 4H Clubs received grants this year, including the Pershing’s Pride 4-H Club of Linneus, in Linn County.
The Building Our American Communities program has been supporting youth projects since the 1970s. 4-H clubs and FFA chapters awarded grants this year must complete their projects no later than August 1st, 2025.
