A bridge replacement project on Missouri 139 in Linn County has been delayed. Contractors were scheduled to replace the bridge over Parson Creek, north of Meadville, beginning December 1st. The work has been delayed to Monday, Dec. 15, due to material availability.
The bridge is expected to reopen in March. During construction, motorists should seek an alternate route around the closure.
The Parson Creek Bridge was built in 1933 and has a traffic volume of approximately 140 vehicles per day.
