A Linn County man pled guilty Monday to recording himself having sexual contact with a minor. Fifty-four-year-old Russell Alan Pirkey entered the guilty plea to a charge of sexual exploitation of a child in U.S. District Court in St. Louis.
Pirkey admitted to recording himself having sexual contact with a 10-year-old girl.
As part of the plea agreement, Pirkey will forfeit a cell phone, a tablet, and various electronic storage devices that were seized by law enforcement during the investigation.
Pirkey is scheduled to be sentenced January 14th, 2025.
