Livingston County Central Dispatch Services to Hire Director

The Livingston County Central Dispatch Services Board is moving into the hiring phase as they work towards assuming control of the 911 services for Livingston County.  Board Chair Matt Gabrielson says the board has the needed insurance in place. They have completed the work needed to receive the Sales Tax funds, and have set up an account, and they have received their first check from the Department of Revenue for the sales taxes collected.

The board is working on hiring a Director, who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the 911 services.  Gabrielson says they hope to have that person in place by mid-April, and they have a goal of fully assuming the 911 services from the City on June 1st.

The Livingston County Central Dispatch Services Board meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Sliced Bread Building.  The meetings are open to the public.
