Livingston County Sheriff’s Department – “No Ticket, Let’s Fix It!”

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department wants to be part of the solution when making traffic stops for equipment violations.  Sheriff Dustin Woelfle announced the “No Ticket, Let’s Fix It!” campaign.

Woelfle says that starting this week, deputies are able to hand out $10 gift cards to a local auto parts store when making traffic stops involving equipment violations.  He says the goal of this program is to bring awareness to equipment violations and how they affect the safety of our roads.

These cards will be used to help motorists purchase, or assist in the purchase of parts to fix headlights, tail lights, brake lights, and license plate lights.
