Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report of activities for the first half of November includes:

Deputies assisted Chillicothe Police with a DWI arrest, took reports of stolen game cameras, investigated illegal dumping that led to a citation, and completed an investigation into an earlier-year firearm possession case that is now headed to the prosecutor.

A series of arrests were made during the period, including felony driving while suspended, operating without a valid license, a chronic DWI offender, and harassment charges. Several people also turned themselves in on outstanding warrants, including cases involving no insurance, a probation violation, failure to register as a sex offender, and violation of a protection order.

Deputies also reported two high-speed traffic arrests on US 36, with drivers clocked at 93 and 95 miles per hour.
