The Livingston County Zoning Officer is requesting a change to the county’s zoning ordinance regarding minor subdivisions. Zoning Officer Gil Gates says the current ordinance requires all property divisions to go before the Planning and Zoning Board.
Under the proposed change, minor subdivisions — splitting a property into two or three parcels — would no longer need board approval and could instead be handled through an administrative review process.
