Meadville R-IV No Increase Bond Issue Approved By Voters

Meadville R-IV voters approved the No Tax Increase Bond Issue for a second time.  Due to a clerical error in the April Election, the April results were abandoned, and the Bond Issue was on the ballot again this week.  Voters approved the Ballot Issue on a vote of 109 yes to 5 no.

Labeled “Proposition Meadville School C.A.R.E.,” the tax levy allows the district to borrow $1.2 million for projects that include completing the parking lot and tennis court resurfacing and upgrades; improving student safety by reconfiguring the drop off/pick up areas; and to the extent funds are available, complete other repairs and improvements to the existing facilities of the District.
