Meadville Woman Injured In Crash With Dump Truck

A 19-year-old Meadville woman had moderate injuries in a crash with a dump truck Wednesday morning.  The crash occurred at about 8:30 am on Highway 6 at Route Z, three miles east of Trenton.

According to the Highway Patrol, the woman was westbound and was stopped to make a left turn onto Route Z, when she was struck from behind by the dump truck driven by a 32-year-old man from Edgerton.  The woman was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton and later flown to Truman Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

Both drivers were wearing safety belts.

The Missouri Highway Patrol is no longer releasing names of those involved in motor vehicle crashes.

 

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported the arrest of a 32-year-old Edgerton, MO man, Cody A King, in Grundy County at about 9:45 am on a Clinton County warrant for alleged failure to register a vehicle.  He was held at the Grundy County Jail pending the posting of bond.
