Missouri Jobs Report

The State’s Jobs report for October shows non-farm payroll increased by 5,400 jobs, private industry payroll increased by 1,600 jobs, and government employment increased by 3,800 jobs.

Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased by 1/10th of a percentage point in October 2024.  That is also up ½ of a percentage point from October of 2023.

The monthly unemployment report with a breakdown by county will be released on November 22nd.
