Missouri Jobs Report For April

The State of Missouri’s Jobs report for April has been released.  The report shows Missouri’s non-farm payroll increased by 12,000 jobs, private industry employment increased by 11,800 jobs, and government employment increased by 200 jobs.

Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment decreased by one-tenth of a percentage point to 3.8%.  That is two-tenths of a percentage point lower than April 2025.

The monthly unemployment report for April, with a breakdown by county, will be released on May 29th.
