The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of April 6-12.
There may be moving operations, such as mowing, brush cutting and litter removal, throughout the region in addition to the work mentioned below. Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work.
MoDOT asks drivers to work with them by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Caldwell County
Route 13 – Milling parking spots and the roadway for a resurfacing and ADA improvements project from Samuel Street to School Street in Hamilton through mid-April. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
Route U – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Pacific Road to Gould Farm Road, April 6-7, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Route U – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Gould Farm Road to New York Road, April 8, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route U – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from New York Road to Pleasant Ridge Road, April 9, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route U – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Pleasant Ridge Road to NE Gospel Road, April 10, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Carroll County
Route 10 – Pavement repair and resurfacing project from Route FF to Route C in Ray County, through May 15. The road will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers guiding motorists through the work zone.
U.S. Route 65 – Striping operation, April 6-17. This will be a moving operation. Motorists should expect delays. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place.
Route 41 – CLOSED for bridge maintenance from County Road 280 to County Road 381, March 30-April 2, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
Chariton County
Route O – CLOSED at the Bee Creek Bridge for a replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through April 2026.
Route F – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Adamantine Road to Ingalls Road, April 6, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route F – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Ingalls Road to Mike Road, April 7, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route F – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Mike Road to Route C, April 8, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route F – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Doc Lucas Road to Siloam Avenue, April 9, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route F – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Siloam Avenue to Demsey Road, April 10, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Daviess County
Route 13 – ADA improvements project from Berry Street to Van Buren Street in Gallatin through mid-April. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
Linn County
Route 11 – CLOSED at the Badger Creek Bridge, north of New Boston, for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through May 2026.
Route 139 – CLOSED at the Parson Creek Bridge, north of Meadville, for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through May 2026.
Route U – CLOSED at the Long Branch Bridge, northwest of Bucklin, through early May for a deck replacement project.
U.S. Route 136 – Concrete replacement from Route F to Route 5, April 8-10. The eastbound driving lane will be closed around-the-clock.
Route B – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Cord Drive to Clark Drive, April 6, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Route MM – CLOSED daily in up to 2-mile sections for resurfacing, April 6-10.
Livingston County
Route K – CLOSED at the North Fork Crooked Creek Bridge through April 2026 for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle.
U.S. Route 65 – Striping operation, April 6-17. This will be a moving operation. Motorists should expect delays. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place.
Sullivan County
Route PP – CLOSED at the West Locust Creek Bridge through June 2026 for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle.
Route T – CLOSED at the East Locust Creek bridge through July 2026 for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle.
Route MM – CLOSED daily in up to 2-mile sections for resurfacing, April 6-10.
Route Z – CLOSED daily in up to 2-mile sections for resurfacing, April 6-10.
Route DD – CLOSED daily in up to 2-mile sections for resurfacing, April 6-10.
