MoDOT Roadwork For The Week

The summer road construction season is in full swing and there are plenty of projects in the area counties taking place.  In addition to the bridge and bridgedeck replacements, the work includes:

Caldwell County

Route 13 – Resurfacing from Route 6 in Gallatin to US 36 in Hamilton through June. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.

Route 13 – Concrete replacement under the Trenton Sub Railroad Bridge in Polo, May 18-19. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place.

Route 116 – Concrete replacement from SW Lead Road to SW Ore Road, May 19-20.

Route 116 – Concrete replacement from Brangus Road to SW Gold Road, May 20-21.

Route 116 – Concrete replacement from Shinn Lane to SW Brangus Road, May 21-22.

Carroll County

Route 41 – CLOSED around-the-clock at the Wakenda Chute Bridge until further notice for bridge deck repairs.

Route M – ADA sidewalk improvements project in Bosworth, through May.

Route 139 – ADA sidewalk improvements project in Hale, through May.

Route 24 – Scrub seal project, May 18-23. The road will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone.

Chariton County

Route K – ADA sidewalk improvements project in Keytesville, through May 21.

Route M – ADA sidewalk improvements project in Mendon, through June.

Route 24 – Scrub seal project, May 18-29. The road will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone.

Route 11 – Pothole patching from US 36 to Rothville, May 18-21.

Route RA – CLOSED for pothole patching, May 20-21, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Daviess County

Route 13 – Resurfacing and ADA improvements project from Berry Street to Van Buren Street in Gallatin through June 2026. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.

Route K – CLOSED for culvert replacement north of Route P junction, May 21, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Route 6 – Shoulder work eastbound 2 miles east of Gallatin on the south side of the roadway, May 19-20, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Grundy County

Route O – Pothole patching, May 18-22, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

Sullivan County

Route 5 – Resurfacing project from US 136 east of Unionville to Route 6 north of Milan through July. The road will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone.
