MoDOT Seeking Comments On Green City ADA Sidewalk Project

An ADA sidewalk project in Green City is in the design stage.  The Missouri Department of Transportation is designing a project to upgrade sidewalks in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Improvements will take place along MO Route 129 from Route YY to Pfeiffer Street. A portion of this project is also located along Route N, from Grant Street to the intersection of Lincoln Street/Route 129.

MoDOT will host a public meeting for property owners and community members to learn about the project and provide feedback.  The public open-house meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at City Hall. Attendees are welcome to visit any time between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to view project plans and speak with project leaders. No formal presentation will be made.

If you are unable to attend the public meeting, two other opportunities for public comment are available through Tuesday, Dec. 30.  View the project website at https://www.modot.org/projects/missouri-route-129-sidewalkada-improvements-sullivan-county.
