More Than 16 Inches So Far This Year

The Chillicothe area has had a wet start to the year, with a rainfall total of 16.54 inches to date, nearly 4.5 inches above normal.  There have been only two months where Chillicothe has fallen below normal precipitation.

In February, Chillicothe received only .37 inches of rain, down 1.43 inches from normal.

In March, we received 2.03 inches, down .87 inches from normal.

The heaviest rainfall month so far is April, receiving 7.37 inches.  That is 3.95 inches above normal.

For the month of May, we have received 3.58 inches at the halfway point of the month and are already 1.21 inches above normal rainfall.
