About 2300 CMU Electric Customers were without power Sunday afternoon for about 15 minutes. CMU Electric Services Director Casey Johnson says the outage at about 3:00 pm was the result of Mylar balloons that had gotten into the powerlines and caused a short.
The balloons were removed and power was restored.
