New Chillicothe Police Officer Hired

A new police officer was hired in a closed executive session of the Chillicothe City Council.  On December 8th, the Council entered executive session following their regular meeting.

The council approved the hiring of Tyler Lewis as a Police Officer at $22.55 an hour.  The start date would be today, December 22nd.

On Friday, Lewis celebrated graduation from the Missouri Western Law Enforcement Academy.

Officer Lewis is undergoing departmental training with his Field Trainer, Officer Reynolds.
