The resurfacing of Washington Street in Chillicothe, from US 36 to north of Highway 190 will begin June 19th. MoDOT says the curb and entrance work should be completed next week and they plan to begin the work on the 19th.
Resurfacing will be done between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am – seven days a week. While resurfacing takes place, Washington Street will be narrowed to one lane and flaggers may be directing traffic. Access to city streets may be closed for short periods during resurfacing. Motorists should expect delays and consider alternate routes.
