The state audit report for Livingston County for the 2024 fiscal year came back with no significant findings. The audit was completed by McBride, Lock & Associates, for the state of Missouri.
The report showed no noncompliance issues with financial statements, no deficiencies on Federal Awards, or the major programs.
The auditors also checked for prior findings that required follow-up and noted there were no findings in the prior report.
Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas was pleased with the report.
It was a clean audit report – the best I can remember.
The auditors also noted there were no significant difficulties in dealing with management during the audit.
