Northwestern Of Mendon Earns An A In The APR

Northwestern of Mendon School District received an A in the 2025 Annual Performance Report or APR released by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).  The school district scored 95.2%, placing it with a #8 ranking of 445 K-12 schools in the state.

Superintendent Tyler Clark says the district has shown vast improvement in recent years, Scoring an “A” in the 23-24 and 24-25 school years.  In 22-23 the district’s APR was 76.7% or a C.

Clark gives “the utmost credit to the staff and students for doing their best to focus on improvement.”  He says the Northwestern R-1 Board of Education deserves some credit for helping them all raise the bar.
