A portion of Interstate 35 in Daviess County will be closed during the overnight hours on Wednesday, September 3rd. The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the freeway under the Highway 6 Bridge as contractors remove concrete forms from the bridge project. Interstate 35 will be closed from 7:00 pm on the 3rd to 6:00 am on the 4th. Both north and south bound traffic will be routed onto the exit ramps and back to the freeway by the on ramps. There will be no access to Highway 6 during the closure.
MoDOT says the Bridge work on Highway 6 over Interstate 35 should be complete in Mid September.
