Pedestrian Crossing Upgrades In Chillicothe

Pedestrian crossings at two intersections in Chillicothe will be updated by the Missouri Department of Transportation.  Area Engineer Michael Marriott says the intersections to be improved are at Washington and Clay, as well as Washington and Calhoun.

These intersections have push-button crossings.

Under the contract with the City of Chillicothe, once the upgrades are complete, the city will maintain the ADA sidewalk crossings, while MoDOT will continue to service the crossing signals and actuating devices.
