Very visible strides in the construction of the new Chillicothe Police Facility were made this week. The contractors have been busy since the groundbreaking in February, preparing the site, bringing in utilities, constructing the foundation, and some very visible work above ground level.
This week a concrete block wall was constructed at the south end of the building, and near where the sally port will be located. The contractor has also erected the steel framework of the building. making it possible to see the scale of the new facility.
Steel for the new police facility has been supplied by a Chillicothe company.
