Power Outage Caused By Squirrel

A Power Outage Monday morning in Chillicothe affected an area from north of Polk Street and west of Fair Street to the Ballentine Addition and south of Polk to 3rd on the west side of town.  Power was out for about 45 minutes while CMU located the problem and rerouted power.

CMU Electric Service Manager Colton Reeter says the outage was caused by a squirrel, and they will need to make additional repairs.
