The sale of the Edgerton Home by the Livingston County Preservation Society will allow the organization to shift its preservation focus.
The LCPS says the Edgerton home, an 1891 Victorian home at 609 Polk Street, has been sold to someone better equipped to more quickly renovate the property.
The Society purchased the home in 2021 and after fundraising, replaced the roof in 2022.
The Society says The Edgerton home is now in the sturdy hands of a couple familiar with large-scale renovations.
This allows the Society to, instead of tackling one large project, help others renovate their buildings.
