The Livingston County Commission placed one item on the April Ballot and will consider a second item before the end of the month.  Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says they filed the Ballot Question for Senate Bill 190.

Allow those over 62 to freeze their property taxes.

If approved, the request to freeze taxes would have to be made each year.
