Chillicothe two newest ambulances have work scheduled this week before they are put into service. Fire Chief Eric Reeter says the work is for communications.
Reeter says the new ambulances will be primarily for local use.
Reeter says the purchase of a new ambulance takes time. These new ambulances were ordered in November of 2021 and were delivered about 19 months later.
